Finally a new update! Bringing some small improvements to exploration to provide more information on the navigation of the levels. These were mainly feedback from the previous versions.
There was, also, the addition of Common and Greater rank enemies, with 2 variants of each on the current Stage 1.
Sadly due to some lack of testing due to working alone on the game, I introduced a few bugs also, which will have to be tackled on the next versions… Tee-hee I guess.
Update changes - 2.5 Alpha
- Changed the bot’s logic to handle different combinations of movement and combat behaviors
- Changed the door vine lock’s sprites
- Changed the stage/level transitions into the loading screen
- Added a stage progress bar to the death screen
- Added a stage progress bar to the loading screen
- Added a transparent door silhouette to the down facing doors
- Added flashing outlines to doors that lead to unexplored rooms
- Added highlighted door path to the exit room
- Added Spriggan enemy and its devour skill
- Added Ghille enemy and its devour skill
- Added Fungi Warrior enemy and its devour skill
- Added Fachan enemy and its devour skill
